I love this short!!

I love this shorts!!! Wore them for Flagstaff Crest 40 but this new release I give 4 stars because NO ONE wants “Flipbelt” in big letters running down one leg. You don’t need to advertise that heavily. Will gladly buy multiple pairs in every color if you get rid of the lettering. The little logo on the front bottom is great, but I don’t want to be your advertisement for you. I had someone ask me what shorts I wore & I told them!! The first release was great!!! Get rid of the obnoxious lettering please.

These really are the best trail running shorts ever. I’m a guy who already bought a couple of the men’s versions but I really liked this color way, so I just sized up one size in this women’s variant and they actually fit better than the men’s version. I like it that they are a bit more high waisted and they have the rear pockets along the waistband. The color is so much fun.

The shorts are super comfortable and fit great! Love all the pockets! The downside is the anti slip around the base of the legs is very tight up against my muscular quads. Even though I’m a small everywhere else, it feels like my legs are getting their blood supply cut off, so sadly will have to return. Also was a bit bummed that the back waist pocket wasn’t long enough to hold the FlipBelt water bottle like the other shorts can. Will go back to the Ouray, which am always a fan of

Bought one pair then bought 2 more! got the water bottles for the side pockets also. Love them! I could never find a comfortable way to carry my water. I Didn't like water on my back, around my waist, in my hand etc. I don't even feel it on my thighs and the bottles do not leak at all! With the nipple type top I also do not choke when I am drinking. I wear them for any competition or long run where I know Im going to want to drink. Also, having the pockets for other things and the front ties for the race #'s is great.
They are also really comfy. No chafe.

I absolutely love these short so much. So comfortable and then the convenience of the pockets and pole storage… remarkable really. A good pair to have in your arsenal!!

I love these shorts! For training, as well as racing! I wore them in my last half marathon and truly loves not having to pin a bib on. My insulin pump also fit perfectly in the side pocket and didn't budge for the entire race.

Exactly as described. A little tight on the fit but they stayed put throughout a recent half marathon and no chaffing!

Love my trail shorts, I do recommend you size up with these shorts. Unless you want to be super snug. I normally wear a size small with Flipbelt but for some reason the trail shorts are little tighter.

Was really hoping the leg opening was going to be like the comp elite shorts, non-constrictive with grippy dots, but no. Unless you have skinny legs like to models, these may not feel comfortable. There is a tight bonded seam at the leg opening that does not work with my anatomy.

Comfortable, feels like premium fabric. However, the pocket on the back is much smaller than the Ouray. I can't fit my waterbottle in, so I'd need to put it in the side pocket. I really prefer to have a 500ml in the rear pocket, so I returned to get another pair of Ouray.

I usually order large in Flip Short but these were very tight. And as it turns out, opaque and somewhat see through. Fit on the inside thighs was weird as well. Not a fan.

There’s so much storage space all around the waistline, as well as side hip pockets. They are fairly high-waisted which helps keep them up while running. There’s a whistle built into the zipper in the small storage pocket, but I’m not sure how you can use it without taking your shorts off? Other than that, these are perfect! Great color options too.

I love these shorts BUT the durability is lacking for a trail short. The fit and storage is amazing but first trail run and they snagged and tore immediately. Hoping to be able to patch them and continue to enjoy them.

Love these shorts and all the storage they have. Holds gels, soft flask, and phone along with chews or whatever else I need.

I absolute love the Compression Shorts Elite 5”. They are my favorite shorts and have recommended them to so many people. They have been out of stock for months so I decided to give these a try. Right off the bat, these trail shorts have a lot more going on at the waist, which makes the whole waistband more bulky. But the ability to carry my poles would have made that bulk worth it. However, these shorts have extra material at the very end of the thigh opening and this pinched my thighs in an unflattering way. For reference, I am 5’6” and 140 pounds. I typically wear a large because I carry weight in my midsection, and the legs tend to be a bit loose as a result. But these shorts were tight and must be returned.

Fit is nice and the compartments are great! very comfortable.
