I adore this vest! I love it so much! 13 pockets?! Are you kidding me?! It’s perfect for long runs and short ones. I can put just about anything and everything in it as well as my iPhone 17 pro max! My fave - I recommend to anyone and everyone I can!

I have run 2 races with this vest and I absolutely love it!! My favorite part is the front straps. I love how easy they are to adjust the tension. I highly recommend this vest!

I really like this vest, it does not bounce at all! For marathon training, I find there is not quite as much space as I would like when both front water bladders are being used. Trying to fit 6 gels, enough water, and a phone all accessible in the front is challenging, but can be doable.

The vest is a little tight if you are a lady due to our anatomy, I wear a small in the zipper flipbelt so I ordered a small here. Sizing up to a medium would have been good as it gets pretty tight when the waters are full. After a few sips it feels better though!

All together, still my favorite vest.

I saw a girl wearing this vest on Tiktok and it’s perfect for my runs! In addition to the many pockets and storage I also love the color choices!!! Definitely not only going to use this for my runs but also my hikes too!

I am NOT a runner. This vest helps me secure $, glasses, MetroCard, water, phone and more to be determined. Keeps my HANDS FREE for a CANE! No longer worried I might lose one of these again.

The vest is cute and comfy and fits very well, but leaves room for improvement. Yes, it has many pockets, but as soon as you put something in one pocket, you cannot put anything with any amount of volume into any of the adjacent pockets. While this does mean it is truly no-bounce, it is really impractical for when I am trying to fill it for a longer day.

Additionally, the openings on the flasks are incredibly tiny, which makes it hard to add water and supplements without spilling.

I do like the front closure clip system.

I really wanted to like this vest but it did not really work for me.

This vest is AMAZING with all of the pockets and opportunities to self support on a runnor hike or anywhere is awesome! I also love how light it is, and the color as well as tag line on the back❤️

The good: I run 3+ hour runs in this vest 1-2x a week and have been using it for six months. It's comfy, and cute. It fits a 2 liter bladder quite easily. It holds a lot and I appreciate all the pockets. LOVE that there's a spot to hang trekking poles when you're not using.

The bad: many of the pockets (there's a lot) are not easily accessed. For example, if I have stuff in some of my front pockets, it's really hard to get stuff out of the other front pockets that are layered on top. And you need to take the backpack off to easily access some of the back compartments (not the case with every backpack). The closures require a learning curve and I find it more time-consuming than snaps. They use a snap on the top - not sure why they didn't want to include them on the front, but wish they did. The reflective striping is already coming off on one spot. I wish there was a large-ish zipper compartment - something to keep my wallet, occasionally my kindle, or avocados (I live on O'ahu and regularly find them on the road). The snap top closes the bladder nicely, but if you have something you don't want to lose, you shouldn't put it in there. Also, I like to pack my vest ahead of my runs and find when I'm not wearing it, and just moving it around my house beforehand, none of the gels stay in. The pockets are just kind of low. Wish they had bungies on the outside backpack so you can stuff in extra layers when not in use.

All in all, still a decent vest. Just wish those tweaks were fixed to make it a bit more user friendly.

I love my vest! I was always hesitant to buy a vest because I am a sweaty runner but the need to carry things plus hydration became too important. I've worn it three times now and don't even notice it once I start running. I am 5 feet talk and around 135lbs- I do think it is just a little snug with my phone/keys/the water pouches full, but it doesn't bother me. So happy I finally got a vest!

I’m a huge fan of FlipBelt products—the quality, durability, practicality, and price consistently outperform other brands. That’s why I decided to try the Tahoe Hydration Vest (I got the white/black). For training runs or shorter runs in general, this vest works great since you’re not carrying much.
However, for ultra‑distance races, I don’t think this vest is the best option. I was really excited to use it for my 50‑miler on December 6, 2025. I had used it once on a training run and everything seemed fine. But during the race, I struggled to keep all my gels in the front pockets adjacent to the bottle sleeves. The rear pouch also wasn’t very helpful since couldn’t reach anything without stopping, taking the vest off, and digging through the back pocket, which was very inconvenient.
The three‑strap mechanics wasn’t ideal for me either. It wasn’t easy to lock or unlock, especially while still moving.
Don’t get me wrong, this vest is great in many ways. The fit and stability were solid. My main issue was the practicality/functionality. The front pockets were hard to access because there wasn’t enough room between the bottles and the pouches, and the material wasn’t very stretchy. I also couldn’t fit as many gels as I needed or easily access items in the back.
I’m not returning my vest because it’s a good option for shorter distances (and the colors are beautiful!). But I would love to see a new version or model with improvements that better support the needs of ultra runners.

Used this vest for my most recent marathon training block and loved it. Plenty of room for gels, a phone, and of course hydration. I only used the two bottles that came with the vest (never needed to add a bladder in the back). The vest is light and breathable (most of my training was during the summer) and comfortable. Washes well. Highly recommend!

I ordered the forest Flipbelt hydration vest in the large size, first of all the build and material of the vest is excellent. I have seen no defects or experienced any after multiple uses, there is one problem though. I'm a 5'10" man with a size 35 waist and the large size vest just fits extremely small for my build making it difficult to use which is a shame because otherwise this is a quality and useful running vest. There are two pouches for the included 500ml soft flasks with an elastic tightening strap to keep the flasks secure while running. There's also a dedicated zippered pocket for a cellphone that easily fit my iphone pro max. There are multiple pouches in the front for gels, snacks, keys or other similar sized objects. In the rear bottom there is a two sided through pouch ideal for a sweat towel or other small objects. On the rear top there is a large pouch that can be used to store extra socks, light wind breaker, hat, beanie and countless possibilities. The large rear pouch can also be used to hang and store a large water pouch with drinking tube (not included). Each side also includes a small pouch ideal for energy gels or snacks. There are multiple reflective points on the rear and front for low light visibility. If you are on the smaller side this is a recommended quality hydration vest for running, jogging or hiking.

Design & Features:This is a really nice vest, and I love the color. The concept is excellent, with plenty of storage pockets and reflective detailing. It’s lightweight and designed to carry all my essentials without feeling bulky. I’m especially impressed with the water bottle storage areas—they’re easy to use and very convenient.Fit & Sizing:Sizing is the main issue for me. I’m usually a small and don’t have a large chest, but this vest feels very tight and doesn’t fit correctly. If it fit properly, it would be near perfect.Overall Thoughts:Overall, it’s a great vest in terms of design, functionality, and convenience, but the sizing limits how comfortable it is for me. I really wish it fit better, because everything else about it is excellent.

This is such a nice running vest! The quality is top notch and you can tell the construction of the vest is well done. The vest runs true to size. I am usually a medium and ordered a small because the medium was out of stock, and it is just slightly too small, but still works great for me. Comes with bladders for the pockets ready to go. The clips are easy to adjust and clasp, and there is a pocket for everything! perfect vest for long runs. Very breathable as well!

Long time runner, but first time vest user. I can honestly say that I love this thing.It’s reflective so I don’t need to wear my usual reflective sash. It has storage for my phone, keys, gels, etc. so I don’t need my running belt.It’s incredibly well-made and light weight so it didn’t feel any harder to run while wearing it.In fact, this last time I wore it, I ended up taking off my running sleeves and gloves ans they felt too hot and it was so nice to have a large pocket in the back to slip my sleeves and gloves into.The water bottles are fairly easy to slip out, squeeze into your mouth and shove back in. Or you can slip it out a little bit and suck the water out from there.I found it super comfortable, easy to adjust, and dare I say, flattering. I did have some minor rubbing on my neck but it didn’t chaff even after a sweaty 5 miler.Overall, I love this vest and would 100% recommend to my running friends.

This is pretty cool.I like the size, and texture.This is great for my daughter, fits a smaller person just fine for the size I got.The material, being such a good quality, seems like it will last for some time.The durability is good, making the value for the money pretty solid.Overall, got what I ordered and am not disappointed.
