Customers praised this lightweight, adjustable running belt for staying secure during runs. "Great running shorts! They stay on your hip," noted one reviewer. The belt holds phones, keys, and fuel with minimal bounce. However, sizing inconsistencies were common—many received wrong sizes or found it runs small. Velcro durability issues emerged after extended use.

Falling apart after one use

It’s falling apart after first use. I washed it initially as advised in the instructions and hung it to dry. I’d seen other reviews saying that this happens but figured I’m gentle on my gear and would be careful. It hasn’t been exposed to any extreme temperatures but is already falling apart. Next time I’ll stick with the old style.

Handy, great for travel - runs small

The media could not be loaded.

I ordered this to replace something like it that had gotten old. This one appealed to me because it was larger than my previous athletic belt and had more pockets.I unfortunately received the smaller size, so I will need to order the next size up, but this one has been tried and will be great for one of the TINY neighbor girls.I am a size 8/10 and the small is too small!!Anyhow, it arrived packaged nicely - great for a gift. It is suggested to wash before using and I recommend doing so as it is fairly rigid and not too flexible, but once washed it is much softer and flexible. The pockets aren't enclosed except for one small pocket for earbuds or such. While some might not like this feature, I do. My previous option had zippers and it was a nuisance and not convenient. The mesh is soft, flexible and yet will safely secure your items around your waist.I doubt I will fill them as it would be too much stuff or at least too bulky for me personally. The velcro is serious major and very strong!! This makes it nice and safe to secure your items for runners or for travelers. I think this is a great item for a good price!

Great running shorts! They stay on your hip and filling the pockets with my phone, fuel and keys the shorts stay put.

Feels like it runs smaller than my other one. Don’t like the pocket design on this one as much

My wife lived it but had to give it to me as mine was too tight.

A nice, lightweight running belt.

My wife seems really happy with this belt. It's lightweight and comfortable. It has a small zipper pocket, and a couple larger pockets that do not have a zipper. Putting it on is a little weird with the Velcro fastener, but I have to admit that it works.Oddly, I thought I ordered the smaller size but ended up receiving the larger size. I'm not sure if that was my mistake or something with the product listing

Lots of pockets

I ordered larger because my hips are a bit wide.Other reviews mentioned the small being too small for size 8/10 which is what I am so i chose Medium. It has enough pockets and I mostly use it for when I don't want to carry a bag or while starting my jogging / fitness journey.

A must have on longer runs and for race day!

I am a big fan of Flipbelt running belts! They are comfortable and fit well and have room to hold all the things I want while running. This one has a very secure Velcro attachment instead of the continuous style you have to step through. It makes putting it on and taking it off very easy. This is a must have for any races as well as my longer training runs.

Careful on size selection

This belt comes in XSM size and MLX size. I asked for MLX (large) but was sent XSM (small) so I had to have my 8 year old try it on when I wanted it for me. He really likes it. It is comfortable to wear and has expanding mesh pockets all the way around. He can pack snacks around his waste and other small objests like a magniying glass and flint/steel for natur walks. His complaint is while supposedy you can put a water bottle inside it, its not practical. It should have come with holsters for water bottles, or a custom fit wrap around bladder. Overall without any practical use to include water in the design it is much less useful and if you jam a water bottle into it it is very uncomfortable and starts sliding/falling off with the first step.. So badically this will not see any use as it does not replace the backpack even for short trips.

Love It!

I have been looking for a run belt for a long time that does not bounce and does not stretch out. This is it! I have previously tried the flipbelt that stretches, and I prefer this one. It is adjustable, breathable, and supercomfortable. I saw a lot of reviews that people could not fit their larger phones. I have a larger Samsung, and it fits fine. I also like the zipper section to put my keys in.

Get it!!

I ordered this after seeing an influencer wear one for a marathon she was in. I’ve ordered a couple in the past and they always slid on me but this one doesn’t.

Sizing is weird. The XS/S seemed way too tight so I ordered the M/L. This was massive. I tried it on a run and it was riding up the entire time, extremely uncomfortable and ruined my run. My iPhone 12 didn’t fit well either and kept looking like it was going to fly out. Super disappointed as this had so much potential.

Nice Belt but Steep Price

Having tried somewhere around five running belts, I can say this is one of the nicer ones I've had. It has some good adjustability to find the right size for a variety of runners and, unlike elastic belts that have the buckles and clips, this one doesn't tend to get loose on you while running, which is a great feature. The pocket is large enough to hold a Pixel 7 without issue, though the larger "pro" phones might struggle to fit. It works pretty well to hold the phone and does not flop around too extensively while running. It's clearly very well made and works well, with good zippers and clasps to hold your phone securely and hold the belt to your waist comfortably. That said, at $45 (price at time of review), this is also 3x the price of some of my other running belts that have been just as comfortable. With those other belts, I fixed the sliding issue with a couple of clothes pins and got the same performance that you can get from this belt. As a premium running belt, this is a good option, and you just about get what you pay for.

Velcro Wears Out

Belt works great and I love the adjustability of it but the Velcro pad tore off pretty quickly. I’ve glued it backon twice but that only works for a few weeks.

Perfect.

For me, this belt is perfect for short runs. It is easy to put on or remove, it carries my phone and nutrition well and my toxic sweat doesn't seem to destroy it.

Love this belt, allows me to carry my phone and key fob hassle free.

Great for activities, but may not be suited to all runners

I got this for running, as it's from the same company that also makes the other running belt I use. This one is good as well, but I found it a bit awkward to take my phone out and put it back in while running. It might be better suited for walking, hiking or other activities where you would be more stable when using the belt. The velcro felt strong enough to hold, but was another thing I didn't want to worry about when running. It's a great belt otherwise for non-running activities.

Sizing mix-ups but great product otherwise

I will start with stating I have had several flipbelts and love them. The sizing on this style is a bit different as it has almost no stretch to it compared to the usual pull on styles. I ordered the XSM but somehow now it shows the MXL and I was sent the larger one. Like others said in the comments, I think this was an error on Amazon's page, but can't prove it.So about this new Air adjustable style - it is my new favorite. Instead of items loading in the middle, this one has all the openings at the top. The larger pocket actually has two openings, and fit the large flipbelt bottle (11 oz) in it easily. With that in the back, I was also able to put my Samsung S23+ in the front no problem. The smaller zippered section is nice that it holds my key fob and I don't have to worry about it sliding out while using my other items. Personally, I found the openings on the top easier to put things in and out of on the go, and because this is adjustable with velcro, but has almost no stretch to it, nothing bounced at all. It stayed right where I put it, low on my waist/ more on my hips, and didn't creep up even when going up and down stairs and running on a trail. I will admit with the original style, I have had my phone slide out of the opening (cause who ever flips it so the opening faces you while running, plus this doesn't work when using their water bottles) but with this newer top load style, I felt everything was more secure. I also look forward to the lighter material for summer as running in the south the old fabric would hold a lot of sweat and feel heavy after a long run.

FlipBelt is a favorite company of mine now

This is my third FlipBelt product, and I have almost nothing bad to say about them. Their products are unique, convenient, comfortable, and well made. The only bad thing I can say about them is that the pricing seems off. I can get shorts or pants for a negligible amount more, so why does just this belt cost so much? I do like the added adjustability of this belt though, meaning that unlike the shorts and pants I can wear this with anything. Bathing suit, fits, snow suit, fits. The Velcro and slight elasticity make it work well.

Size selection is listed "backwards" for lack of a better word.

Unfortunately, the sizes on this listing are backwards, for lack of a better description. I wanted the smaller size so I used the drop down box to select the smaller belt and did not notice that the listing description title changed to the large version. I received the larger one and was confused when it was too big for my hips. I went back and found the problem. There are two options for ordering this: FlipBelt Air Adjustable - Black - XSM or FlipBelt Air Adjustable - Black - MXL. When you pick the size you want from the drop down box it actually gives you the opposite one.The belt itself seems very usable though. It is light weight and fits my smaller iphone 15 fine which is what I wanted it for. It can also hold an id, credit card, key or some cash in case you would need to stop somewhere on your run. It just falls off of my waist and moves itself down to my hips because I can't tighten it to the desired length due to the sizing error.

Fits most Necessary items for running.

Very very light weight - almost feels like nothing hence the “air” I imagine. A large size phone fits easily in the front with room on the pockets for gels, keys etc. not so sure about the water bottle it says but that’s more a comfort thing.Secures with Velcro that is strong. Nice tight fit that does not bounce around when running.Could also be used for travel as it fits comfortably under clothes without bulk.

Fits my iPhone 16 Pro Max

I was surprised it fit with room to not fall out the top. The rest of the pockets will work well for the rest of the items I bring when I run. Usually I have my AirPods and a lip balm. I like the adjustability. The instructions say to cut the excess strap but I am leaving it so other family members can use it if they need. I love that it is very lightweight and the mesh should help with at least not making me hotter if not help with cooling. My original one is the tube of stretchy fabric and it can be hot to wear.

Cute and nice

This is a very nice lightweight running belt, It will fit phones, keys, and sunglasses. I think a water bottle would be too big, unless it is small. I love the color and the mesh! It is adjustable size as well.

Be Mindful of Sizing!

Be careful of the sizing! I ordered the M-LX (medium/large) but received the X-SM (small/medium).That being said, I'm a woman, size 8/10. 165lb, 5'6", 29" waist, 40" hip. Size small fits just barely on the last velcro piece. Since it is adjustable, I would highly recommend sizing up as I find it runs very small. Based on the instructions, you can just cut the excess velcro off. No issues with fitting an iPhone 16 Pro Max and gel packs. I've also tried fitting an iPhone XR and 11 Pro Max––no issues either.

Too Big for my Waist and too Small for Phone

I don’t know who designed this belt but it’s humongous! I got a size large as a woman and it would fit an extra large man. I thought maybe I’d give this to my dad but the pocket designated for the phone is too small for the standard iphone! This was a dud.
